Stain-resistant specifications
It allows easy cleaning of the surface of the material from stains of all kinds (wine, coffee, chocolate, etc.), only with the use of water and absorbent cloth.
Outdoor Specifications
This specification initially indicates the strength and durability of the material in sunlight. That is the ability of the material not to fade in color or not to deteriorate qualitatively from sun exposure.
Waterproofing
It refers to the possibility of the material not to absorb immediately or soon after any liquid that comes in contact, allowing the user to remove the latter in time before the fluid can penetrate the material.
Flame-retardant (IMO)
The specification of the slow-burning (known as flame retardant) materials is now a necessary condition for providing legal certificates to accommodations that operate in high standards. Especially for the spaces moving into the international maritime seas, we provide an IMO certificate.
Antibacterial – Antimicrobial
It refers to the specification of the material not to be affected by bacteria or germs, and it is found mainly in the materials intended for use in sanitary areas, hospitals, etc.
Sound specifications
It concerns the ability of the material, to allow the smooth reflection of the sound inside the space where it is placed, to avoid the annoying reflection and the intense noise.
High abrasion resistance
This specification mainly concerns the upholstery fabrics and refers to the durability of their surface during use. The density of the yarn weave, the weight of the fabric, and its finish after its production, can be critical factors of lower or higher durability.
Blackout
It concerns to the specification of curtain fabrics that do not allow the unimpeded entry of light but limits it to an extended (90-97%, dimout) or the absolute level (100%, blackout). It is strongly preferred in hotels, hospitals, and more generally in long-stay areas of the visitor that are exposed to intense sunlight.
Thermal insulation
This specification refers to the ability of the material to maintain the temperature of the space inside it, not allowing the heat of the external environment to enter. It is found mainly in curtain fabrics, which enable their application space to remain warm in winter and cool in summer.
